So my life is....well life

Sorry, haven't been around for awhile. I got sick with the flu right after Jan.1, and was down for almost two weeks.
And then the shock came. Our former roommate committed suicide on Jan. 17.
I've gone through all the emotions up and down for a few weeks now and finally getting back into feeling good. Life goes on.
Hope to be here at PoC more often.

So sorry your friend died, Rumba,..... that is so sad and such a waste of life. It's so hard on the ones left behind. I hope you feel better and your life becomes much less stressful. Huggles mate

Oh my Rhumba! I am sorry to hear of yer loss and yer illness. It's bad enough that ye were feeling so awfully crook and recovering, but to have such a shock must be nigh unbearable. Boats and I had known Bob for 12 years. We had a lot of good times together. It didn't get bad until he moved in with us. After we had to ask him to move out due to alcoholism problems he had been living on the streets. It was a very sad thing, he followed the path he laid out from the time he was born and never bothered to waver from it. He had a lot of potential but in the end we knew he was going to kill himself. It's just the reality of it that was so shocking, especially when the San Diego Medical Examiner called us and I heard with my own ears over the phone.
But we are alive and we must move on and keep the good memories and let the bad go.
