Hey mates. :) If you're wondering why I haven't posted any music lately, it's because my stupid computer is having technical issues that we can't seem to fix. It just won't let me record, like the computer's not fast enough, but we just bought it in the summer and it's almost as fast as you can get. So that's disappointing. But that doesn't mean I haven't been still writing music! I end up playing my guitar for at least an hour a day, writing new songs and lyrics (which I've never done much of before)... I'm not a good singer, but perhaps sometime I'll try video recording me playing these songs for y'all to hear. :)

That's an interesting idea, b4t, and I'm up for it! I suppose the admins can discuss it. I honestly don't think my music is professional enough to sell on a cd, but if people would buy it, supporting this ship would be nice. :)

Glad to hear you are okay and still writing and performing your wonderful music Blast but sad to hear your computer has gone locker on you. Hopefully you will get to recording again....we miss our resident composer...so drop into the me thread in the games forum and let us know how you're doing now and again... keep playing...

I've got a little surprise for ya, mates. :) It's actually a new tune!! I figured out a temporary work-around that should allow me to record simply through the mic for the moment. Which means no piano, drums, strings, or anything that I can't play live. Anyways, here's a solo acoustic guitar track I did mostly in one take. Hope y'all like it. :)

Blast... you did a wonderful thing writing that beautiful piece of music. I too was taken away with its melody and message. I imagined a foal running around and finding out about its environment when I heard it, finishing with a sleepyhead falling to sleep in the sun. Yeah, he wanted to do American Idol, but he missed those auditions, so he tried out for America's Got Talent instead. :) He's got black hair, usually in some crazy rocker fashion, looks kinda like Adam Lambert. And of course, you'll recognize the name Blake Soles, and his voice. :)
