Ahoy here be our Terms of Use, mates, for all those who aspire to join us on our voyage.






1) Be respectful of others on the site. Swearing, posting objectionable words or images or arguing with your Admin or crew will not be tolerated. Please take disagreements off of the site and if this does not resolve differences, then email the Admin with your problem and each situation will be addressed as soon as we can.


2) Spam, trolls and sockpuppeting will not be tolerated.


3) No editing of your posts will be allowed, after another person has replied to it. No deleting of any post is allowed at any time. If something needs to be taken care of , PM a member of the Admin team, and if we agree its appropriate, it will be done for you.

4) You may post pictures smaller than 600x800. Any larger and the picture must be made into a word link. The Admin has the right to remove or change any picture on the site. Please keep avatars and signature within the allowed space (Avatars:165x165) and (Signatures:150x500). NO ANIMATED avatars or siggys will be allowed. Remember you are allowed an allotted space for each, and wordage under the pictures counts in the space used. All pictures must be hosted in a photo sharing program on your own computer and that URL is used to post on this site.



5) We do not condone “hacking”, “hot linking” or “pirating” copy written. You may post material from sources as long as you have permission from them to do so.

6) No linking to other sites message boards as posting these is without the permission of those who posted there.

7) Any ideas, disagreements or complaints of this site should be sent directly to our website Admin at potcutlass@googlemail.com, and not posted on site. ALL decisions made by the Administration are final.

8 ) Anyone found to be breaking their word to adhere to these TOU, will be sent a letter of warning, and if behavior persists, then banning will ensue.

9) You may post goods for sale on A Pirate's Booty forum, but we respectfully request that you first PM Bosun Carmina, as moderator of that forum, so that she may review all requests for approval. After yer request is okayed, you will then be given permission to post yer items. Please limit sales details of said items to emails, though questions may be asked in the individual threads. All ordering of said items is at yer own risk. We in the POTC Admin will only be accountable for Point of the Cutlass items which we ourselves list for sale.

10) Enjoy the site and your mates. Please remember that you need to be registered to post.

It may seem harsh, but its easier to remember..simply get in the habit of reading it ov er before you hit submit...any MAJOR change of mind, PM a PLord to change it for you. All your concerns and ideas here will be discussed and considered.
